Sandeep Karwa, Vice President, Flipkart Ads, has been appointed as the leader for Flipkart Ads, according to the company’s new press release.
Karwa joined Flipkart in 2012 as a Senior Manager in charge of setting up the smartphone business for the ecomm company.
He has worked with The MobileStore, ICICI Lombard, Cognizant and Atos Syntel prior to Flipkart.
Karwa also serves on the board of Walmart India, Wildcraft, and Arvind Fashions.
Among the spate of resignations at Flipkart, two more names have been added to the list, according to a news report. Prabh Simran Singh, Senior Vice President (SVP) of Customer Growth and Retention, Marketing and Ads at Flipkart is reportedly serving his notice period. Similarly, Sankalp Mehrotra, Vice President (VP) of Monetisation at Flipkart, has also reportedly put down his papers.
