Even though the celebrations of Indians were muted due to the gruesome crime that occurred in Kolkata’s RG Kar Hospital and #UnhappyIndependenceDay made rounds on every social media, brands kept the spirits up by focussing on the factors that still make every Indian proud.

The video Desh Ek Raag is a heartfelt ode to the indomitable spirit of India. The composition is based on Raag Desh invoking a deep sense of pride and reverence towards the beloved motherland.

This Independence Day, the Ministry of Tourism, India, and MakeMyTrip presented a magical glimpses of ‘Saare jahaan se acchha Hindustan humaara’, nudging the Indians abroad to come home and reconnect with their roots.

Asian Paints in association with St+art India honoured the 'Jawans of Tawang' with a mural that celebrates their bravery and the vibrant culture of Tawang. This was a heartfelt tribute to those who protect our homeland, come rain or snow.
