Strategic brand marketing and communications professional, Shalu Zala has joined HSBC as its Vice President for Marketing Strategy and Social Media. She announced the same through a LinkedIn post.
“I'm delighted to announce my new adventure as Vice President - Marketing Strategy & Social Media at HSBC ! From leading brand triumphs at telecommunications to diving into the dynamic world of banking, this journey promises to be an exciting one,” she wrote.
Zala has over 15 years of experience across a broad range of marketing disciplines in Retail, Telecommunication, Lifestyle & FMCG industry segments.
In her last role, she headed Brand and Marcom – Enterprise, for Vodafone Idea Limited. Prior to that, she was Chief Brand and Marketing Manager at Reliance Retail.
She’s also held various leadership roles at companies such as Trent Hypermarket, Welspun, Animation International India and Reliance Digital Retail.
